Every business struggles with getting started in video content, so here is my list of the 4 videos you should start with.
1. The “Who We Are” Video
If you have a business, you have a story! In this kind of video, you're telling the story of your business from creation to now. What inspired you to start your business? How did you start it? What message to you want to send through your business? These are all things that potential customers will see and it will automatically create trust with them. The video below is a great example of this type of video.
See how you automatically feel a connection with their brand? Potential customers will feel this with your brand too, thus giving them a stronger emotional impulse to buy from you.
2. Customer Testimonial Video
When your product or service is great, your customers are going to want to let others know about it. This is why testimonial videos are great, it lets customers explain the buying experience to other potential customers which can bring in lots of “on-the-fence”/potential customers to your business. Think of it as a video review.
Notice how the value of Zoom's service is increased just by seeing a customer talk about how it helped them. We now understand its use cases from a customer's point of view, making us consider how to use this service in our own businesses.
3. The Product/Service Commercial
This is what you see on TV all the time. This is showing off your product/service in 15, 30 or 60 seconds. You can show how your product/service is used in daily life, how it helps people and obviously, how the product/service looks!

4. The Process Video
Customers want to know how your product/service is produced! There is a whole story behind how you produce what your sell, in fact, some companies create an entire brand around their process (ie. organic food, ethical coffee, and fair-trade clothing). This is a great opportunity to bring customers behind the scenes and, again, create this trust with your customer!
I love the simplicity here, they are showing what how they do what they do so when they come to roof your house, you know what to expect. This kind of video can also be repurposed into smaller videos and can be used for paid advertising as well!
